Little did we know that when we adopted Lucy, we also adopted an interior designer. While we were out one day, Lucy decided to do some remodeling. First thing was the molding on the door. Guess she didn't like it, so... she took it off!
And she, apparently, didn't like our french doors, so she was starting in on those when we got home.
The best part of it all was how innocent she tried to look. She even tried to use Jack as a tool to convince us how nice she really was. Look how sweet she is looking and laying next to Jack:
You're not fooling anyone, dog.
oh NO!!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the images that I had created about that story in my brain did not look THAT bad! Your house went from really nice to dog barn in just a few hours. I'm so sorry, that totally sucks! She needs a spanking.
ReplyDeleteOH...MY...GOSH!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Keri...I'm sorry. (Laugh!) I'm in shock, but totally laughing at the same time. It's amazing what little stinkers dogs can be, and yet we love them more and more every day! In the first little while we had Goliath, he had ripped up a bunch of our carpet, destroyed a few pair of shoes and ripped apart several of Gavin's toys. What do you do except teach them and love them. She's very lucky to have you!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you mention carpet, Summer... cuz just yesterday we came home to find that Lucy had eaten a bunch of our carpet. And the foam pad underneath of that, and the floor pad underneath of that. Within a half an hour we had found a crate on craigslist and by 10am this morning it was in our possession. We just can't trust her! But we really do love her. She's sweet and kind to us. If only we could figure out her seperation anxiety!
